New Jersey Men Charged With Assault After Incident on Beaver Avenue

Two New Jersey men have been charged with aggravated assault after an incident on Beaver Avenue Friday night, according to State College police.

Anthony Rosetta and Zachary Zielinski of Robinsville, NJ were involved in the alleged assault which took place in front of the Uncle Eli’s store on Beaver Avenue. A nearby officer responded to the sound of a woman screaming and reportedly found Zielinski standing over and striking another individual.

The victim was taken to the hospital and treated for various facial injuries. Police believe both suspects were in town for Arts Fest. They have been arraigned and are were ordered held on $100,000 bail.

This Art’s Fest weekend has generated a number of incidents involving minors and alcohol, noise complaints and theft. In one case someone stole between prints valued at $ 980 from an exhibitor's tent at the Arts Fest. The theft happened sometime between Thursday and Friday.
