CBSSports.com’s Rob Rang’s draft projection: Seventh round
Rob Rang’s analysis: Lynn is the son of Jets running backs coach Anthony Lynn. That does help, but at the same time you’re going to have some people with an even more critical eye. He’s going to be perceived as someone who should know better. The concern with him is, ‘Is he ever going to get any better or is he maxed out?’ I thought Lynn did outstanding at times in Mobile (at the Senior Bowl). Unfortunately, I didn’t see fluidity and loose hips you want in coverage. I saw him get beat on intermediate and deep routes. That concerns me. I see some physicality, some willingness to wrap up a tackle. He might be another safety conversion that teams might be willing to look at.
