Nittany Apartments Search Yields Drugs
on September 04, 2008 7:43 AM
According to the Daily Collegian, a small amount of marijuana was found Tuesday evening in a Nittany Apartments residence.  University housing records show the current residents as Penn State football players AJ Wallace, Andrew Quarless, Maurice Evans, and Abe Koroma.

Police were called to the apartment after a complaint about loud music coming from the apartment.  After police arrived, they searched the apartment for more than five hours.  Drug charges will be filed.

Police did not say who specifically will be charged in connection with the incident.  Police are still investigating who had possession of the marijuana.

The issued search warrant listed Aristides A. Nova, Wallace, and Quarless as being at the apartment Tuesday evening.  Neither Evans nor Koroma were listed as being at the apartment Tuesday night.  Nova told police he does not live in the residence but was only staying there temporarily.

Penn State sports information director, Jeff Nelson, offered no update as to the status of the four players for this Saturday's game against Oregon State.  All four players involved were unavailable for comment.  (Read More)
