According to court documents, state police filed a search warrant in February against O'Keefe and Dragon Chasers. Police were searching for the bath salts, which were declared illegal in Centre County in March.
Also in March, Centre County District Attorney Stacy Parks Miller filed civil litigation against three local businesses that she said she believed to be selling bath salts: Jamaica Junction, 111 S. Pugh St., the now-former Dragon Chasers Emporium, 115 S. Fraser St., and the Uni-Mart at 341 W. Lamb St. in Bellefonte.
