An ongoing Pennsylvania Department of Transportation project to improve roadways in Centre County will continue this week with paving on two State College area roads.

Nighttime paving will take place on South Atherton Street from University Drive to Shingletown Road/Warner Boulevard. Work will be done from 6 p.m. Tuesday through 6 a.m. Wednesday and 6 p.m. Wednesday through 6 a.m. Thursday.

Lane restrictions and short travel delays should be expected.

Milling and paving work will be done during the daytime on Thursday and Friday on Shiloh Road between the Interstate 99 interchange and Trout Road. Travel delays also should be expected during this work.

The overall paving project for Centre County roads is expected to be completed by mid-November. PennDOT reminds drivers to use caution when traveling through work zones.
