Penn State Athletes: BTN Set for Penn State Day on Tuesday

by on May 11, 2020 2:00 PM

Tuesday is Penn State day on the Big Ten Network and that means plenty of Nittany Lions on your TV as the quarantine life continues into the middle of May.

The full schedule can be seen below, but things will kick off at 6 a.m. with Penn State men's hockey taking on Wisconsin in the 2017 Big Ten Tournament Championship. Liam Folkes' game-winner in double overtime capped off a dramatic week of postseason play and sent the Nittany Lions to the NCAA Tournament for the first time in program history.

Football's 2007 Alamo Bowl victory over Texas A&M (10 a.m.) and a 2010 Capital One victory against LSU on a soggy field (11 a.m) round out the morning. Penn State's Big Ten Championship win over Wisconsin in 2018 also makes an appearance at 10 p.m. while Penn State basketball takes over starting at 4 p.m. with three-straight games including a dramatic victory over Iowa at the Palestra this past season.

For those looking to find something else, Penn State men's lacrosse, wrestling, women's volleyball and women's soccer will all make an appearance as well.

The network says that scheduling is subject to change. In total the network will air 18 broadcasts and features throughout the course of the day.
