If you're hoping to get an early look at the newest Nittany Lions to take the court this is your chance. The Penn State men's basketball program will head to Altoona High School for the Blue-White Hoops Showcase beginning at noon Saturday, Oct. 15.

Admission is free for all fans.

The event features an open practice for the Nittany Lions, as well as a post-event clinic for the first 150 kids in sixth grade or younger to register. The 2016-17 Nittany Lions will face off in an intra-squad scrimmage as part of the practice.

Parents can reserve a spot for their child(ren) by emailing Loren Crispell (lnc109@psu.edu). They are asked to print out the form linked above and bring to the clinic. Instruction will come from Penn State players, managers and coaches in this FREE clinic.

Fans can park around Altoona High and Junior High Schools and enter through the main fieldhouse entrances beginning at 11:30 a.m.

The Nittany Lions begin their 2016-17 campaign Friday, Nov. 4 with an exhibition against Lock Haven, followed by the season opener Friday, Nov. 11 vs. Albany in the Bryce Jordan Center.
