The Big Ten Conference announced Monday that Penn State junior guard Tim Frazier has been named first-team All-Big Ten Conference by the media and second team  by the coaches. Both complete rosters can be seen here.

The 6-foot-1 Frazier elevated his performance throughout the year, finishing the Big Ten season ranked first or second in four major statistical categories.

He averaged 19.6 points per game in conference play and narrowly missed out on becoming the first Nittany Lion to ever lead the Big Ten in scoring.

Frazier also was first in assists (5.6 per game), first in steals (2.4), second in minutes (38) and third in free throw percentage (87 percent) in the Big Ten.

Penn State (12-19. 4-14 Big Ten) takes on No. 15 Indiana (24-7, 11-7) Thursday in the first round of the Big Ten Tournament at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.
