Penn State Coaches Caravan to Make 18 Stops in 17 Days

Penn State fans will get a chance to meet some of their favorite coaches during a 17-day, 18-stop tour that will visit seven states, plus Washington, D.C.

First-year football coach Bill O’Brien will headline the Coaches Caravan that will make its first stop April 30 in Philadelphia.

In addition to Pennsylvania, the caravan also will make visits in New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Ohio, Virginia and Connecticut, as well as the nation’s capital in Washington.   

Other coaches set to join O'Brien along the way include Nittany Lions men’s basketball coach Pat Chambers, field hockey coach Char Morett, track and field coach Beth Alford-Sullivan, men's soccer coach Bob Warming, men's ice hockey coach Guy Gadowsky and women's hockey coach Josh Brandwene.

The following is the schedule for the Coaches Caravan, sponsored by the Nittany Lion Club and the Penn State Alumni Association:
 
April 30, 11:30 a.m., Philadelphia; 7 p.m., Drexel Hill, Pa.

May 1, 11:30 a.m., Baltimore; 7 p.m., Washington, D.C.

May 2, 7:30 a.m., Richmond, Va.; 7 p.m., Harrisburg.

May 8, 11:30 a.m., Penn State Hazleton; 6 p.m., Lehigh Valley, Pa.

May 9, 11:30 a.m., Woodbridge, N.J.; 6 p.m., New York City.

May 10, 11:30 a.m., Hartford, Conn.; 6:30 p.m., Scranton, Pa.

May 14, 7:30 a.m., Penn State Altoona; 6 p.m., Pittsburgh.

May 15, 11:30 a.m., Youngstown, Ohio; 6 p.m., Cleveland.

May 16, 11:30 a.m., Penn State Erie, The Behrend College; 6 p.m., Buffalo, N.Y.
