Penn State Football: Carter Talks Upcoming Season In Mini Documentary

Penn State tight end Kyle Carter will be a key part of the Nittany Lion offense yet again this season. Carter racked up 36 catches for 453 yards and two touchdowns in 2012, but his season was cut short due to a wrist injury.

Playing through an elbow injury he suffered in the opening game of the 2013 season Carter finished with 18 catches for 222 yards and a score. Those old injuries are a thing of the past and this year expectations are running high.

Carter was recently named to the preseason watch list for the Mackey Award, given annually to college football's top tight end. He was named to the list along with fellow Nittany Lion Jesse James.
