Penn State Football: DE Garrett Sickels Verbally Commits To Nittany Lions, Report Says

Garrett Sickles, a 6-foot-4, 225-pound defensive end from Redbank Regional High School in Little Silver, N.J., verbally committed to Penn State Sunday, according to Blue White Illustrated. 

He is the third verbal commitment and the third four-star recruit to commit to coach Bill O'Brien and the Nittany Lions in the past five days. 

Sickles is rated a four-star recruit and lands in at number 50 on the Rivals.com Top 100 list for the 2013 recruiting class. He had scholarship offers from 23 different schools, including Alabama, Ohio State, Notre Dame, Florida, Miami and Stanford. 

Christian Hackenberg, a 6-foot-3, 205-pound four-star quarterback out of Fork Union Military Academy in Virginia verbally committed to Penn State this past Wednesday, as did four-star cornerback Ross Douglas, a 5-10, 180-pounder from Avon High in Ohio.
