Penn State Football: McSorley Clocks Fastest QB 40, NFL Combine Results As Seven Nittany Lions Test In Indy

by on March 01, 2019 4:50 PM

The future is now as the NFL Combine swings into full speed at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis from Friday until Monday. After days of interviews and measurements, seven former Penn State players will get a chance to finally show their physical tools on the field in front of scouts, GMs and coaches.

On the offensive side of the ball it is a group led by quarterback Trace McSorley while linemen Ryan Bates and Connor McGovern, as well a running back Miles Sanders will take the field over the weekend.

From the defensive perspective it's linemen Shareef Miller and Kevin Givens as well as cornerback Amani Oruwariye representing Penn State football.

This report will be updated throughout the weekend with results from the one field-testing. It's unknown at this time which drills players will or will not do — combine participants aren't required to take part in every test.
