The nation's top running back recruit and future Nittany Lion, Miles Sanders took to Twitter this weekend to reaffirm his commitment to the Nittany Lions.

"I want everyone to know that this recruiting process isn't easy," Sanders said in a statement. "I'm just making sure that I'm going to the right school that's best for me. After talking with my family and mentor, I want to let Penn State and alumni to know that I am 100% committed to the university. I won't be taking any other official visits but to Penn State. I'm confident for the future and can't wait to get rolling."

Sanders' statement comes just days following a brief period of uncertainty as Penn State's coaching staff underwent a fairly large overhaul. At one point, Sanders' Twitter profile no longer stated that he was a Penn State commit sending the internet into a frenzy until he once again add that distinction.

That's good news for Penn State, running back Akeel Lynch's transfer was indirectly a result of Sanders arrival at Penn State this summer coupled with the emergence of star back Saquon Barkley.

With Sanders and Barkley both working in the backfield this upcoming season, it could spell a special combination for new offensive coordinator Joe Moorhead as he settles in for his first season at the helm in a post-Hackenberg era.
