Penn State Football: Nittany Lions Add Another Offensive Weapon To 2017 Class

Penn State continued its offensive on the recruiting trail this weekend as three-star wideout and Indiana native Mac Hippenhammer committed to James Franklin and his staff. The 2017 prospect choose the Nittany Lions over Iowa and Michigan State among several other schools.

Considered the nation’s 88th-overall receiver and the sixth-best prospect out of Indiana according to 247Sports. Hippenhammer comes in on the scales at 6-feet even and 170 pounds. He will join fellow three-star wideout Cameron Sullivan-Brown in the class. Penn State's 2017 haul is now 15 players deep and rated No. 3 in the Big Ten by the 247 Network and No. 19 nationally by the same outlet.
