"This recruiting process has been a long journey," Fashanu said. "filled with a lot of ups and downs, but I am truly thankful for it all. First off I would like to thank God for blessing my family and I with various opportunities to play the game I love at the next level....I am 100% committed to the Pennsylvania State University."

Fashanu weighs in at 6-foot-5, 320-pound and hails from Washington, D.C.. He chose the Nittany Lions over the likes of Oregon, Oklahoma, North Carolina and nearly two dozen other programs and coaches.
