Penn State football added to its 2020 class and beefed up the defensive line as three-star targets Brandon Taylor and Amin Vanover verbally committed on Friday night.

The duo marks the fourth and fifth defensive line commitments for the Nittany Lions' 2020 haul.

Taylor committed to Penn State over Michigan, Michigan State, and Kentucky, among others. He’s the 16th-best player in his home state of Ohio and the 24th-best strong-side defensive end in the country, according to

The Ohio native comes in at 6-foot-3 and 250 pounds, he joins Vanover on the line along with previous committed prospects Fatorma MulbahCoziah Izzard, and Cole Brevard on the defensive front.

Vanover committed to Penn State over the likes of Alabama, Clemson, and Georgia, among others. The 6-foot-4, 240 pound prospect is the 12th-best player from his home state of New Jersey and the 20th-best strong-side defensive end in the country according to

The commitments give Penn State the 10th best recruiting haul in the nation per the 247 Network and the third best in the Big Ten. The class of future Nittany Lions is currently 16 players deep, 10 of those verbal commitments have come during the month of June, a counterbalance to a handful of decommitments as well as the loss of PA's top prospect Julian Fleming, who committed to Ohio State at the end of May.
