Penn State Football: Nittany Lions Up To No.4 In Both Major Polls

The early season shuffle around the Top 5 rankings continued on Sunday as Penn State jumped USC a week following the Trojans doing the same as the Nittany Lions are now ranked No.4 in both major polls.

Penn State is the highest ranked Big Ten team with Michigan, Ohio State and Wisconsin coming in at No.8, No.9 and No.10 respectively. Ahead of the Nittany Lions are Oklahoma, Clemson and Alabama. In the AP Poll, Wisconsin is in at No.9 with Ohio State at No.9.

USC falls one spot after the Trojans beat Texas in double overtime.

Penn State heads to Iowa this weekend for a primetime kick against the Hawkeyes to open Big Ten play. The Nittany Lions started the season ranked No.6 nationally.
