Defensive tackle Tim Settle announced his decision date on his Twitter account earlier this week and will take an official visit to Penn State according to reports.

"Tennessee, Penn State, Florida State, UCLA and I have one more," Settle told the 247 Network.

According to Settle, he will announce his college decision on December 20 following his visits and what will then be the completion of the college football regular season.

The 247 Network lists Clemson and Alabama as close leaders in the race to land the 6-foot-2, 339 pound prospect's services. Settle has attended at least one summer camp in Happy Valley this year with the Nittany Lions still very much a part of his recruiting process.

The four-star recruit is ranked as the nation's No. 8 defensive tackle and the No. 2 prospect in the state of Virginia in the 2015 class by 247Sports. Nittany Lion coaches Brent Pry and Sean Spencer have been the primary recruiters since Penn State began targeting Settle.
