Two Penn State offensive linemen will be headed to  postseason play before the NFL Draft.

Guard Miles Dieffenbach will take part in the 90th East-West Shrine Game and tackle Donovan Smith will participate in the 66th Reese's Senior Bowl.

Smith becomes the 31st player in Penn State history to be selected to play in the Senior Bowl in the last 15 years, joining safety Adrian Amos and linebacker Mike Hull as Nittany Lions accepting invitations to this year’s game. Kickoff for is slated for 4 p.m. ET on Saturday, Jan. 24 at Ladd-Peebles Stadium in Mobile, Ala. NFL Network will televise the contest.

The 75th Penn Stater to play in the East-West Shrine Game all-time, Dieffenbach will take part in the all-star contest on Jan. 17, 2015 at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Fla. Kickoff is scheduled for 4 p.m. ET and the game will also be shown on the NFL Network.

Smith started 31 of 37 career games at left tackle, missing two games this season due to injury. He becomes the 111th player all-time to participate in the Senior Bowl. Dieffenbach made his 26th career start in the New Era Pinstripe Bowl, starting all 12 games in 2013 before missing the first eight games of 2014 because of an injury.

Dieffenbach's participation quietly confirms a positive bill of health. The battered senior missed most of the New Era Pinstripe Bowl with an undefined lower body injury. Dieffenbach missed the majority of the season with an ACL tear suffered in preseason spring ball.

Smith recently declared for the NFL Draft opting to forgo his final year of eligibility. Smith and Dieffenbach played side by side for the past two starting quarterbacks, Matt McGloin and Christian Hackenberg as both signal callers put up record setting seasons.
