Penn State Football: Take A Look From The Top Of Croke Park
DUBLIN -- Penn State and UCF will take the field this Saturday at Croke Park stadium, a special place in the hearts and minds of all of Ireland. Nearly everyone who plays a sport in Ireland pictures that moment when they finally step onto the field.
It's a unique place, a place where the national pastime of Gaelic Football is played by amateur athletes who work full-time jobs when they aren't playing the game that can draw packed stadiums every single week. When the championship game ends both teams enjoy a meal and drink(s) together inside a room in the stadium used only for that special occasion.
Up early in the morning it was a perfect day to see this historic stadium.
