Penn State Football: White Out Set For Michigan Game
To the surprise of no one, Penn State will host Michigan this season under the hype of a White Out, the program announced on Tuesday afternoon.
The time for the Oct. 21 Big Ten game has yet to be announced but it's easy to imagine two likely Top 10 teams facing off under the lights of Beaver Stadium. Times and television arrangements are announced throughout the offseason, with primetime contests usually released in bulk by the conference between spring and mid-summer.
Either way Penn State's showdown with Michigan will be an early key moment in the Big Ten and playoff race. The Nittany Lions will have to deal with Pitt and games at Iowa and Northwestern before facing off with the Wolverines, but an undefeated record heading into that meeting is a reasonable expectation.
Penn State will then head on the road to face Ohio State and Michigan State during a thankless middle third of the schedule.
Most game day themes will be released at a later date, but Penn State is slated to recognize its Big Ten Championship prior to its week two game against Pitt.
