Penn State Police Investigate Two Incidents Involving $2,000 Worth of Damage

Penn State Police are investigating two incidents of criminal mischief that caused at least $2,000 in damage at parking lot 25 along Porter Road.

The first incident happened sometime between midnight on Aug 24 and 10:45 a.m. on Aug. 27, police said, and the second incident occurred between 2:30 p.m. on Sept. 4 and 2 p.m. on Sept. 5.

Unidentified individuals created what police "deep circular ruts" in the grass area causing damage. The total value of the damage is estimated at $2,000.

Anyone with information should contact Penn State Police at (814) 863-1111 or Centre County Crime Stoppers at 1-877-99-CRIME. Anonymous tips can be submitted online and anyone who provides information that leads to an arrest may be eligible for a reward up to $1,000.
