- An Office of Physical Plant staff member reported the window glass of the door to Room 219 Osmond Laboratory had been inadvertently damaged. The incident occurred at approximately 12:00pm January 16th. Value of damage estimated at $100.
- A student reported she lost control of her vehicle on snow covered North University Drive and drove through a fence and into a field. A damage estimate was not immediately available. No injuries were reported.
- A resident assistant reported the odor of burning marijuana coming from a room at Hastings Hall. The occupants of the room were identified and a consent search performed. The search revealed a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
- University police filed criminal charges in the office of Magisterial District Judge Carmine Prestia against Elaine C. Lin of 231 Bee Meadow Parkway, Wippany, NJ. Lin was charged with Possession Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Purchase, Consumption, Possession or Transportation of Liquor or Malt or Brewed Beverages while less than twenty-one years of age. The charges stem from an incident that occurred in 308 Hibbs Hall on January 15th.
- Criminal charges were filed in the office of Magisterial District Judge Daniel Hoffman against Anthony Edward Kaye of 1115 South Garner Street, State College, PA. Kaye was charged with Criminal Trespass. The charge stems from an incident that occurred January 1st at the University Park Airport.
