A special investigative committee initiated by the Penn State trustees will host a press conference Monday morning in Philadelphia, according to a media advisory.
The press conference is planned "in connection with (the committee's) investigation of university actions regarding recent abuse reports," the advisory reads.
Scheduled for 10 a.m., the event will be held at the Loews Hotel Philadelphia, at 12th and Market streets.
Live television coverage is anticipated. A live webcast of the press conference will be available via http://webcast.alliedpixel.net/.
The special committee has been assembled in light of the criminal charges filed against former Penn State football coach Jerry Sandusky and now-former administrators Tim Curley and Gary Schultz. Extensive earlier coverage from StateCollege.com is available via the page linked below.
