A Penn State student faces felony drug charges after being arrested for allegedly selling Xanax and other drugs out of his dorm room.

Back in September, State College police received word from a confidential informant that Austin Querriera, 19, was selling “Xanax bars."

With the help of their informant, police arranged two controlled purchases of illegal drugs on October 13 and November 5 at Querriera's dorm room in Sproul Hall, according to court documents. Querriera allegedly sold marijuana wax and Xanax to the informant, who turned the drugs over to police.

Police then obtained a search warrant and reportedly found over 27 grams of marijuana, $150 and a scale containing marijuana residue.

Querriera faces felony charges of possession with intent to deliver and criminal use of a communications facility, as well as misdemeanor possession charges.

He has been arraigned on a $100,000 bail and is scheduled for a preliminary hearing on Wednesday.
