No. 2 Penn State women’s volleyball swept Michigan Saturday in Rec Hall to extend its Big Ten winning streak to seven straight matches.

After beating No. 10 Michigan State 3-1 on Friday night, Russ Rose’s Nittany Lions took down the maize and blue 25-17, 25-18, 25-14.

How It Happened

Penn State hit the ball well as a team in the first set (.367), blowing out head coach Mark Rosen’s bunch 25-17 to take an early lead.

Frantti came up just short of the double-double. Kendall White turned in a tremendous outing defensively, posting a match-high 13 digs. Washington is now just 14 kills away from reaching 1,000 for her career.
