Police Actions Cleared By DA In Shooting

According to the Daily Collegian, Ferguson Township police officers were justified in the fatal shooting of an armed man who threatened their lives during a standoff in late July in a local radio station parking lot.  The justification was issued by the Pennsylvania State Police after their investigation concluded yesterday.

Brian Neiman was shot and killed after he threatened police with a loaded shotgun when they came upon him in the parking lot of Christian radio station WTLR.  Neiman also rammed police cruisers with his and shot at officers.

The officers determined not to be at fault will be back on patrol duty as early as next week.  The officers responsible for the shooting had been on paid administrative leave until state police concluded their investigation.  (Read More)
