Police Investigate Attempted Armed Robbery

Patton Township Police are investigating an attempted armed robbery of a tow truck driver. It happened early Wednesday morning. 

Police say the driver was approached by a man who pointed a gun and demanded money. The incident took around 3:30 a.m. in the 100 block of Cricklewood Drive.

The suspect fled empty handed. The tow truck driver was not injured. 

The suspect is described as a black male, about 5-foot-10 with an average build and dreadlocks. He was wearing a white baseball cap, a blue or black hooded sweatshirt, baggy jeans and white shoes, police said.
