Police Investigate Report of Stolen Handgun

A Ruger P95 nine-millimeter pistol was stolen from an unlocked vehicle on Tuesday, the State College Police said.

Police received the report at 12:45 p.m. Tuesday from an apartment at 733 W. College Ave. Police said the theft occurred earlier in the day, possibly overnight. 

A Garmin GPS was also taken from the same car, police said. No monetary value could be given for either item stolen. 

Police do not have any suspects at this time.
