The State College Police are searching for an orange-hued 2002 Chevy Avalanche pickup truck that was stolen on Tuesday.

The truck was reported stolen around 6:30 p.m. from 1621 Elizabeth Rd. and police said the keys had been left in the vehicle.

Police said the license plate number is EF1-864.

Meanwhile, police fielded a report around 7:15 p.m. Tuesday from 1500 E. Branch Rd., the site of Mount Nittany United Methodist Church. A burglary was reported but police said nothing was reported stolen or missing at the time.

While police said they have no knowledge whether the two incidents are connected, they did make a note that the locations are only one tenth of a mile apart.
