State College Police are investigating the report of a theft of around $1,840 in goods from an apartment on Monday.

Police responded to a report at 9:54 a.m. on Monday from 221 S. Barnard St. Residents reported a theft they believe to have occurred between 3 and 3:30 a.m. on Monday.

Among the items stolen was an Xbox 360, various video games and a MacBook Pro, police said. The investigation remains open.

In a separate incident, police said charges may be filed against a 19-year-old woman who trespassed in a residence at 12:42 a.m. on Saturday at 120 Colonial Ct.

Police said the woman wandered into someone else's house, soiled a bed and subsequently left the residents a note saying that she had lost her cell phone and to contact her if they found it.

The woman left her name and contact information on the note, which has allowed police to locate her, though her name was not released.
