Police Investigating Death of Penn State Senior

The State College Police Department is investigating the death of a Penn State senior who was set to graduate in less than two weeks, according to a news release.

Police responded to a house on 119 Wren Alley at 10:03 a.m. this morning after receiving a report about an unresponsive male.

They found 22-year-old Darren Stafford, of Princeton Junction, NJ, in full cardiac arrest. Stafford was pronounced dead at the scene.

There was no indication of trauma or foul play and the incident is under investigation by the State College Police. Stafford majored in Business Marketing.

Penn State spokesperson Jill Shockey issued a statement, saying, "We are, of course, deeply saddened to learn of Darren's death and offer our condolences to his family and friends."
