Police Investigating Report of Rape in Residence Hall

Police are investigating the reported rape of a female student at a Penn State dormitory. 

The student told police she was sexually assaulted by a male that she knew. The alleged assault happened sometime between Jan. 1 and Feb. 10, police said. It wasn't reported until Wednesday morning. 

According to the police log, potential charges include forcible rape, aggravated indecent assault, indecent assault and simple assault. Police said they have the suspect's name but could not confirm whether an arrest has been made.

Police have not released any other information.
