State College police are investigating the theft of street signs and stops signs in the borough over the weekend

Police responded early Sunday morning to several intersections for reports of stolen signs.

A video posted to social media during the weekend showed two college-aged males (pictured) removing a street sign at the intersection of Keller Street and East Foster Avenue while another person filmed. One of the individuals was struck in the head when the signs fell as he shook the post.

Anyone who may have information regarding the theft of street signs or stop signs in the borough should contact the State College Police Department at (814) 234-7150, by email or by submitting an anonymous tip through the department's website.
