Police Looking for Van and Driver Involved in Hit-and-Run

State College police are looking the driver of a van involved in a hit-and-run crash last week.

According to police, at about 6:15 p.m. on July 3, a Volkswagen Jetta was traveling southbound in the right lane on the 100 block of South Atherton Street when a white van merged from the left lane to the right lane, colliding with the Jetta.

The driver of the white van failed to stop after the collision, police said. The van appeared to be a company vehicle bearing an unknown New Jersey registration.

Anyone who may be able to identify the van or who may have information regarding this incident is asked to contact the State College Police Department at (814) 234-7150, by email or by submitting an anonymous tip through the department's website.
