Police Release Surveillance Photo of Theft Suspect

by on August 21, 2014 12:00 PM

Police are hoping a surveillance photo will help locate a theft suspect who's been cashing in on crime.

Investigators say a lifeguard working at Parkway Plaza Apartments in State College reported his wallet was stolen on Aug. 5.

Since then, someone using the victim's credit card and ID has reportedly made purchases at several businesses including a UniMart in Bellefonte, a McDonald's in Milesburg, and Puff Express stores in Lock Haven and Mill Hall.

Surveillance cameras captured the suspect buying multiple items during stops to the drive-thru windows at the two Puff Express stores.

Polices say he was wearing a dark ball cap, Oakley-style sunglasses and a cut off grey tee-shirt. The man has facial hair and a tattoo of a cross on his left bicep with another tattoo on his forearm.

A woman with blonde hair who was wearing sunglasses is in the back seat of the car. Another person is in the front passenger seat.

The suspect is driving a green four-door vehicle that appears to be a late 90s Toyota -- possibly a Corolla.
