State College police are seeking help identifying a suspect in a burglary that occurred early Monday morning.

Police say a college-aged man broke into the State College office of the Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency on College Avenue, where he stole a laptop.

The suspect reportedly forced his way into the building through a rear entrance on Calder Alley. Though the door was locked, it appears that the suspect was able to pull hard enough to break the lock.

Once inside, the suspect tried to enter the back door of the CVS pharmacy, but was unable to get in. He then went upstairs and forced his way inside the PHEAA office.

The suspect has dark hair and was wearing a collared shirt underneath a dark colored sweater. Police have obtained still security photos which you can see below. Investigators are working with PHEAA's security agency to obtain video from inside the office.

Anyone with information can call the State College Police Department at 814-234-7150. You can also submit an anonymous tip online.
