Police Seek Three Theater Robbery Suspects

According to the Daily Collegian, the State College Police Department is using surveillance video to identify three suspects in a strong-armed robbery at the Premiere Theatre in State College Monday evening.  The amount stolen by the suspects is estimated to be less than $100.

The three suspects, one woman and two men, were stopped by a Premiere Theatre employee while waiting in line to see The Dark Knight.  The suspects were stopped because one of the men showed "obvious signs" of having outside food and drink with him.

The situation escalated when the suspects reacted by using profanity and creating a scene resulting in the employee denying them entrance to the film.  While the employee walked the suspects over to refund their money, one of men continued his verbal attack on the employee while the other man reached around the counter and stole an undisclosed amount of money from the cash drawer.
