Police: Theft Reported on Fairmount Avenue; Man Head-butted in Downtown McDonald's
by on January 23, 2012 5:13 PM

Two laptop computers and an iPod were reported stolen early Monday from a residence at 134 W. Fairmount Ave., State College police said.

The dwelling appears to have been entered through a rear door or an unlocked window, according to a police report. The incident was reported at 1:12 a.m.

Police said they didn't immediately have any suspects.

Also Monday, police said they answered a disorderly-conduct call early Sunday at the downtown McDonald's, 442 E. College Ave.

There, according to a police report, people laughed at a man who slipped on the floor. Apparently upset, the man head-butted one of those who'd laughed at him, according to the report.

The man who was head-butted soon called police, the report shows. The man who had slipped, meanwhile, left the scene, police said.

No injuries were reported.
