PSU Alpha Sigma Phi House Appears for Sale in State College
The Alpha Sigma Phi chapter house in State College has been put up for sale, real-estate listings show.
Located at 328 E. Fairmount Ave., the 31-bedroom, stone-walled house is listed at $1.65 million, according to the LoopNet website.
The listing says the house, home to the Upsilon chapter at Penn State University Park, has 11,560 square feet and is zoned for 43 occupants. The residence is in the Highlands neighborhood.
It wasn't immediately clear what's in store for the chapter. Messages left late Tuesday for its president, the Penn State Interfraternity Council president and the Alpha Sigma Phi national office were not answered by late Wednesday morning.
StateCollege.com will post additional information as it becomes available.
