Robber Sentenced To Decades In Jail

A serial convenience store robber in Centre and surrounding counties was sentenced to spend more than 20 years in prison for a two-week robbery spree last summer.

According to the Centre Daily Times,  George Patton, 33, was sentenced to serve between 22 3/4 years and 45 1/2 years in state prison.  Patton's sister, Caroll Patton, is awaiting trial on charges she was her brother's getaway driver in many of the robberies.  (Read More)
