Snow Forces State College Area School District to Close All Schools Monday

All schools in the State College Area School District are closed all day Monday, per school district officials.

State College Area Schools are opening two hours late Monday because of inclement weather, according to district officials. 

The National Weather Service posted a Winter Weather Advisory Monday at midnight, effective until 8 p.m.

The snow is expected to continue through the morning and taper off this afternoon. Be careful when traveling. Area roads are wet but mostly clear. Drivers should watch out for icy patches.
