The National Weather Service has just issued a "Special Weather Statement" warning people in the State College area to watch out for a fast-moving snow squall.

At 10:24 a.m. the snow squall was located around Ebensburg and was moving east at 25 to 30 mph. Snowy conditions could reduce visibility to less than a quarter of a mile with wind gusts up to 30 mph.

The National Weather Service is urging travelers to use caution -- calling the snow squall, "potentially dangerous." The snow squall could create slippery conditions on many local roads, including Route 322, Routes 26 and 45 and I-80.
