State College Borough To Borrow $1 Million

According to the Daily Collegian, the State College borough announced it will borrow more than $1 million to finance parts of Fraser Centre, a new downtown entertainment complex. The new complex is expected to be completed in the next two years.
The borough will borrow $1,051,788 from the Pennsylvania Infrastructure Bank. The project is designed to fix traffic problems at the intersection of Fraser Street and Beaver Avenue.
The loan will be paid back within 10 years. (Read More)
