by on October 10, 2014 6:00 AM

A State College man has been accused of a felony sex crime involving a minor, according to a criminal complaint filed on Wednesday.

Bryan Flickinger, 35, faces charges of corrupting a minor and misdemeanor indecent assault following an incident involving a 3-year-old child in 2013.

According to the complaint, Flickinger allegedly touched the child inappropriately while acting as a babysitter. The Centre County Children and Youth Services Bureau notified State College police of the alleged assault in March.

The child reportedly confirmed details of the alleged assault to a State College psychologist. Police reportedly interviewed Flickinger twice over the course of two months. He denied touching the child inappropriately, according to the complaint.

Flickinger will be arraigned on Wednesday, October 15, according to the office of Magisterial District Judge Steve Lachman.
