State College police are investigating the report of a sexual assault.

The incident was reported Tuesday afternoon.

The reported assault occurred in January, police say.

Authorities did not release additional details as it is very early in the investigation.

Police are also investigating an assault related to a dispute between two male roommates.

The incident, which was reported about 4:15 Wednesday morning, occurred in the 700 block of University Drive.

One of the two males suffered facial injuries and may need to undergo surgery. He was initially treated at Mount Nittany Medical Center.

Police also continue to investigate a harassment incident that reportedly occurred about 1 a.m. Saturday when an unknown male approached a woman in the 800 block of South Allen Street.

Police say the male, who exited a white sedan, approached the woman, grabbed her arm, and asked where the woman was going and if she needed a ride.

The woman fled on foot to her apartment. She was uninjured.

The incident was reported to police Monday morning.
