State College Police Looking for Suspect Who Used Stolen Credit Card

Police are looking to identify a woman who allegedly used a credit card stolen in Blair County to rack up thousands of dollars in fraudulent purchases at two State College-area stores.

State College police said the credit card had been in a wallet that was reported stolen to Logan Township police on Monday. The suspect was seen in Walmart and Sam's Club on Benner Pike in College Township, where the credit card allegedly was used to make purchases totaling about $3,600.

Anyone who may be able to identify the suspect or who has information regarding this incident is asked to contact the State College Police Department at (814) 234-7150, by email or by submitting an anonymous tip through our website. Any information also will be relayed to Logan Township police.
