State College Police Seek Public's Help to ID Laundromat Thieves
The State College Police Department is seeking the public's help with identifying two suspects believed to be responsible for stealing from a laundromat.
The incident happened about 11:20 p.m. April 21 at the Wash & Dry in the 200 block of West Hamilton Avenue where police say two male suspects stole more than $500 from a change machine.
Surveillance video captured two unknown males entering the Wash & Dry who then made numerous trips to the change machine, police say.
The first suspect allegedly tampered with the change machine while the second suspect allegedly acted as a lookout at the front of the store, police say.
Police described the first suspect as a short, stocky man in his mid-20's with brown hair and a goatee. He was wearing glasses and a black baseball cap, gray hoodie and black pants.
Police described the second suspect as a tall, thin man in his 20's, with light colored hair, possibly red, who was wearing a baseball cap, a black Air Jordan hoodie and black pants.
