Movies
In "Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close," a 9-year-old searches New York City for a lock that matches a key left behind by his father, who died in the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks. This movie, featuring Tom Hanks, is playing at the College 9 Theatre and the UEC 12 Theater.
In "Haywire," a black-ops soldier seeks payback after she's betrayed during a mission. This movie is playing at the UEC 12 Theater.
The State Theatre is showing "Martha Marcy May Marlene," about a woman struggling to re-assimilate with her family after fleeing an abusive cult.

Bars and Clubs
The Autoport will host Brad Fey starting at 8 p.m.
At Bar Bleu, happy hour will run from 9 to 11 p.m. Ted McCloskey and The Hi-Fis are scheduled to play at 10:30 p.m.
Biscuit Jam is slated to play at 10 p.m. at the Bar in Boalsburg.
And at the Gingerbread Man, DJ Cup Cake will entertain starting at 10 p.m.

Community Events
Tait Farm will host a winter-comfort-food event starting at 2 p.m.
Sports
The Penn State Icers will take on West Virginia at 3:30 p.m. at the university ice pavilion. And the Penn State women's gymnastics team will face Michigan State, Cornell and Alabama starting at 7 p.m. at Rec Hall. Details of the sporting events are available through this page.
Sunday, Jan. 22
Community Events and Performing Arts
Eisenhower Auditorium will host "Seussical" at 2 p.m.
The Nittany Gymnastics USAG Girls Team will host a meet at C3 Sports. Start time on Sunday is slated for 8 a.m.
Sports
The Penn State wrestling team will face Iowa at 2 p.m. in Rec Hall. The Penn State women's basketball team will play Iowa at 3 p.m. at the Bryce Jordan Center. Details of both events are available via this page.
