State College, PA - Centre County - Central Pennsylvania - Home of Penn State University to Cover Sandusky Hearing; Here's How

by on December 12, 2011 10:23 PM will have four journalists reporting Tuesday from Bellefonte as Jerry Sandusky has his preliminary hearing.

It's scheduled to begin at 8:30 a.m. in the Centre County Courthouse, where a couple surrounding streets have been blocked off.

News reporters Nate Mink (on Twitter as @MinkNate) and Adam Smeltz (@SCNewsDesk) will cover the proceedings from inside the Centre County Courthouse and an adjacent annex space.

Reporter Ben Jones (@Ben_Jones88) will be covering the scene outside the courthouse, including through a comprehensive live blog that will be placed on the homepage. Mink and and Smeltz will be contributing some reporting for the live blog, as well.

And the site's managing editor, William Derrick will be taking photos outside the courthouse and assembling other multimedia elements.

As usual, all's coverage of the subject will be available via this special page. Many updates are likely to emerge most immediately via the reporters' Twitter accounts, however.

Some information will be posted via the site's Facebook page, too.
